What Shows on the Eye

The mid-iris is vivid electric blue built over a fine printed dot mesh; from the pupil a rose-pink flare opens outward, and irregular pale veins crack through the blue toward the edge. There is no heavy black limbal ring — the outer edge stays soft blue and blends gently toward the sclera, so the iris reads big and open in photos.

Lighting and Photo Notes

Warm hall light pulls the rose center forward and tips the blue toward violet at the edges; overcast daylight or a cool ring light pushes it back to electric blue. Shoot at eye level with the key light just above the face so the catchlight sits on the upper iris, then let the cracked veins carry tight portraits.

Character Styling
