Mami Nanami Cosplay Contact Lenses
Champagne blonde, soft ends, a thin fringe. A white high collar with a small wine-red ribbon. The smile that arrives a beat late. Then the eyes, and that is where a cosplay either lands or quietly falls apart.
Two Tones Instead of One Flat Wash
This lens is built as two rings: a bright emerald teal-green core and a deeper teal outer rim. The inner ring is jewel-clear, the kind of tone that catches a highlight and holds it. Then it deepens, so the iris ends on its own edge. Two rings give the eye somewhere to travel, which is why the emerald teal green still reads as an eye and not a filter. Pigment density sits mid-weight: dense enough to keep its identity in daylight and flat indoor light, fine enough that fibre detail still shows through.
Fibre, pupil edge and a clear centre
Move in and there is structure. Soft radial strands, tighter near the middle, looser toward the rim, the way a real iris is built. The centre of the lens stays clear, so your own iris shows through around the pupil. Her eyes carry a faint pink-violet cast right there, and an open centre lets your natural colour supply the hint instead of a printed dot faking it. The pupil ring is soft too. In a shy, close-lipped expression, a hard pupil edge kills the mood.
How the outer rim blends
The outer edge feathers out instead of cutting a circle. That is the difference between lenses that read as part of your face and lenses that look pasted on. Both eyes come from one pattern, so the inner ring sits at the same height on each side. I have worn pairs where one side ran half a shade warmer and only found it in the edit, hours later. Not this one.
Comfort through a slow day
The first ten minutes felt like nothing. No scratch at the lid, no creeping dryness at the corners. I wore them through a slow build, wig fitting, ribbon adjustments, standing around, and only remembered them once, late afternoon. Blink a few times before you judge the fit; the edge settles as it warms. First pair? Practice insert the night before.
On the con floor and on stage
It reads in group shots, and it reads from the audience when you are on stage. Pale blonde hair, a white collar, the small ribbon at the throat, and a soft teal-green that carries the whole frame without shouting. Hold the gentle half-smile and let the eyes do the rest.
The review we hear most
"I have built maybe forty characters and I am fussy about eyes. First pair where the outer rim held its colour instead of dropping flat. My photographer zoomed in, said nothing, and from him that is a rave. The clear centre is the detail I did not know I needed."

Why CCUS Eyewear
CCUS Eyewear builds cosplay contact lenses for photos as much as for convention floors. Every pair is checked for left-right pattern match, and we describe colour the way it behaves, core and rim and falloff, so you know what lands on your eye before it arrives. If a colour reads differently than you pictured, tell us.
Clean, dry hands, case when they're out, and follow the care guidance that comes with your pair.
