Touka Kirishima Cosplay Contact Lenses: Hair Overlap
The asymmetrical bob with the fringe falling over one side is the signature of this cosplay. It is also the reason half of these photos end up with one eye hidden.
The covered-eye trap
If the fringe crosses the near iris, the colour is gone from that side and the face reads lopsided. Sweep the long side just clear of the eye. It still looks like the character — the fringe still covers the brow, just not the iris.
Purple needs an open eyelid
The second risk is a narrow, hostile expression closing the lid too far. Keep the stare flat and slightly bored rather than angry, so the eyelid stays open and the full purple is visible.
Dark hair, so keep the purple cool
Navy hair and a white shirt collar bracket the face. A cool violet holds against those better than a warm red-violet, which can start to look maroon under hall lighting.
Shoot slightly to the side
A small turn away from the covered side balances the frame and lets both eyes show without moving the hair.
The review we hear most
“One eye was hidden in every photo until I moved the fringe back a couple of centimetres. Nothing else changed.”
