Why bursts are brutal

In a crowd burst nobody holds still. Your head is moving, the light is bouncing off a dozen other people, and half the frames catch you mid-blink. A pink lens has to be strong enough to survive all of that.

Shoot three frames, pick one

Do not pose for a single perfect photo. Fire three quick frames through the laugh and pick the one where both eyes are fully open. With a good lens, any of the three will do.

The costume already shouts

Pink and white with heart shapes everywhere. The lens does not need to compete with the outfit; it needs to stay pink and slightly deeper so the eyes read as part of the character and not as a filter.

Keep it human

Leave the skin natural. This is a cosplayer in a costume, not a paint job. Clean makeup around the eyes does more for the read than any effect.
