Shinei Nouzen Cosplay Contact Lenses
Short black hair, a few strands over the forehead. A khaki greatcoat, dark shoulder tabs, a pale scarf at the neck. The face hardly moves. He's the one standing slightly apart, looking off frame, and that stare carries him. So the eyes have to hold.
A Deep Red That Won't Collapse Into Black
The fringe is the tricky part. Hair falls across the top of the eye, shadow lands there, and a thin red pigment turns muddy brown or turns into a dark shadow. This pair answers with weight rather than brightness. The body is a deep burgundy, cool enough to live under black hair, and a darker crimson ring closes the iris. The colour is dense, not loud, so it keeps its identity in the shaded upper lid and still behaves like an eye along the lower edge. This lens uses mid-heavy pigment density, dense enough to hold its red under black hair without blocking the fibre beneath.
The Centre Stays Clear
Look at the middle. The pupil zone is left clear rather than printed, so your own iris colour shows through around the pupil. The pupil ring itself is soft-edged. On a character who barely speaks, a hard printed pupil makes the stare fixed and drags the whole face with it. An open centre gives you a quiet red look with your own depth sitting underneath.
A Soft Edge Carries the Blend
The outer rim feathers out instead of cutting a circle, and that falloff is what lets a strong colour sit on a face rather than sit above it. Both lenses are cut from one pattern, so the darker crimson ring sits at the same height on each eye. I have shot pairs where one side ran half a shade deeper, and you find it at 200% in a heavy edit, an hour you don't get back. Check yours in daylight before the wig goes on.
Comfort Through a Slow Morning
The first minute felt like nothing. No scratch under the lid, no dry pull at the corners. I wore them through a wig fitting, scarf adjustments and a lot of standing around, and only noticed them once, late afternoon. Don't judge the fit in the first five minutes; blink a few times and let the edge settle. New to lenses? Insert them the night before.
The review we hear most
"I have built more characters than I can count, and eyes are where I get picky. This is the first red pair where the outer ring held its colour under my own fringe instead of dropping into shadow. My photographer zoomed in, said nothing, and from him that is applause. The clear centre is the detail I did not know I needed."

Why CCUS Eyewear
CCUS Eyewear builds cosplay lenses for the camera as much as the con floor. Every pair is checked for left-right pattern match, and we describe colour the way it behaves, core, ring and falloff, so you know what lands on your eye before the box arrives. If a shade reads differently than you pictured, tell us.
Clean, dry hands, case when they're out, and follow the care guidance that comes with your pair.
